Bloodstone is believed to have mystical properties; controlling the weather, banishing evil/negativity, and directing spiritual energies. It is said to bring a calm, tranquil atmosphere that is grounding or revitalize insufficient energy. Bloodstone increases intuition, creativity, shields from undesirable influences, stimulates dreaming, teaches us courage, aids decision making, and reduces irritability and aggression.

It is a very strong healing and protective stone and has sometimes been called “stone of courage”.  It is highly powerful for centring and grounding, it is associated with honesty and integrity and is useful in removing obstacles in life.
